We had heard about the Rib Shop for awhile now but only just got around to it recently.

One of the things that I liked about this place was the easy parking. No problems finding a place to park here. The Rib Shop is located at 120-122, Jalan Kasah, Damansara Heights, 50490 KL. Jalan Kasah is located directly behind the Victoria Station that is off the Sprint Highway in Damansara Heights.

We started with their deep-fried homemade chinese sausage (RM9). Served with thai chili sauce, it was a great way to start the evening. My suggestion is that you better order two plates if you like sausages.

The smoked pork bacon (RM18) was served with bufallo mazzarella cheese, fresh tomato & topped with pesto. Bacon always does me in - so I loved it. It's pork bacon - what's not to like - especially when so many places are giving us beef bacon or other meat and trying to add the bacon name to it. To me, that is just wrong. Wrong Wrong Wrong!!!

Then came the mains -
the barbecued pork ribs (RM29)
- marinated with the chef's secret sauce & served with mashed potato & coleslaw sweet & sour delight
the slow braisedd pork ribs (RM29)
- served with port wine sauce & deep fried potatoes with vinegar

Between the two, I preferred the barbecued pork ribs which to me had the right mix of sweet & sourness and the perfect juiciness left in it.

We also had the Chef pasta (RM19) which came served with  pork bacon & chinese preserved sausage in a light plum sauce. Not bad but not my plate of pasta.

Finally, if there's only one dish that you could have here and nothing else, you must have the fettuccini (RM19). It's
fettucini served with crispy pork bacon, a lovely thick rich cream parmiggiano with a touch of nutmeg. I couldn't really taste the nutmeg - too subtle for me - but the cream was absolutely looooooovely.

Dining here is not a cheap experience so be prepared with some cash if you don't happen to have a credit card. But it's money well spent. My daughter loved it so much that she's been bugging me to bring her there again.
