Nasi Kandar at the Original Kayu |

After having tried the nasi lemak at the Original Kayu which was actually not that good, I decided that since the place is supposedly famous for it's nasi kandar, I should at least give that a try.
Bad choice - it wasn't good at all. The brinjal and the ladyfingers in the fish curry were so hard, it might as well have been raw. (kayu might have described how the vegetables felt) yuck! The fish curry lacked fragrance. yuck! The kurma chicken was not particularly tasty. yuck!
Maybe they had a bad day but I am not going back there for nasi kandar.
And it wasn't cheap either. Lunch for two persons came up to RM38.50.
