Pork Noodles at Kean Fatt, SS 3 Petaling Jaya E-mail

One of the best places in Petaling Jaya to savour pork noodles is Restoran Kean Fatt. Open from about 10 am in the morning till about 2 pm in the afternoon (maybe might close earlier on a busy day), the pork noodle here has one of the best pork noodle soup around. The soup is so good that you can taste the pork in it, so you not getting a dose of MSG here. Of course there is lard inside to make it even more yummy.

I don't care what people say about the cancer causing properties of lard, it is good and if you take anything in moderation, then you don't really have to worry about cancer. Oh well, that's just my opinion.

Like all good pork noodles, be prepared to wait for your order to arrive. LS says he thinks the one in Subang Jaya is the best but I think the one here at Kean Fatt is good enough for me. OK, granted I am not as picky about pork noodles as I am about Char Kuey Teow - another cancer inducing dish.

Speaking of Char Kuey Teow, some people have rated the Char Kuey Teow quite highly. I don't agree. The Char Kuey Teow here is wet, does not have enough chilli, is not served over banana leaf, does not have lard (yes, yes - that carcinogenic element again) and arrggghhhhh - it tastes sweet!

Other things that you might try here is the beef noodle which is not bad and the wantan  mee which my friend, GT, claims is the best in the world. Uhhh - I don't think very highly of GT's taste buds - he couldn't be more wrong.
