Yuen Garden On one of our regular Saturday morning breakfast exploration trips, we came upon this place in Bandar Puchong Jaya that had been designed to look like a two storey chinese restaurant like the ones you would see in chinese wushu flicks. I could almost picture someone flying off the first floor any moment.

The place was packed and it looked new and clean. However, that's the extent of the positives that I can give Yuen Garden. While the dim sum looked appealling, with the proper shine and presentation to the food, the food did not taste as good as it looked.

For example, the skin on the prawn dumpling had the correct translucense but was too powdery. Worse still, the prawn was not fresh.

The Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun was too oily and the sauce was tasteless.

The only thing that was decent here was the stuffed brinjal.
