Lately I have noticed several new fishball restaurants in town or maybe it's because I am no longer averse to fishball that I have begun noticing them.

The House of Fishball is another one of them. They claim that they use only fresh ingredients and that they do not use any preservatives or boric acid in their food. You mean others do???? I am shocked!! :-)

We had noodles and the soup was actually not too bad. Not the best but not bad either. I think I still prefer the one at Jin Man, Cheras.

Now to their claim of fresh ingredients for their fishball - I can certainly confirm that it is fresh but the fishball lacked a bounce to it. The best fishballs feel like you could almost bounce it on the floor and it would come back to you.

Their fishcake was also not so hot. The skin was a bit too chewy.

The only thing that I really enjoyed here was the "tow foo pok" (bean curd skin?)

And if you go there, don't use their toilet.
