Weng Hing has been around for a long time and is famous for both it's Char Kuey Teow and Pork Ball Noodles. I have reviewed the Char Kuey Teow here, which I did not particularly like. But the pork ball noodles, now that's something else.
This is one the best pork ball noodles in Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya. What sets it apart is their soup, it is very tasty without resorting to too much MSG. I like it because it's got a nice peppery flavour to it. The noodles are also very tasty as the meat sauce that they use really gets into the noodle. My only complain is that the serving is kind of small and at RM5 a bowl, it's also quite pricey for hawker food served in a hawker food restaurant.
Getting a place to seat during the peak lunch hours is not easy so get there before 12 noon or perhaps slightly after 1:30 pm.
