We had been to the Vietnam Kitchen in One Utama before and we were not too impressed by the food that we had ordered. Just incase you want to know what we ordered the first time, here it is - Golden Savoury Pancakes, Special Beef Rice Noodle Soup, Chicken Ball Noodles Soup, Chicken Curry with Rice and the Hanoi Peanut Pork Trotter. Someone in the know told that us we ordered the wrong stuff the last time we were here so I thought I would give it a shot again.

While we waited for our food, we started with a cup of vietnamese coffee. One hot and one iced.

The coffee is amazing, much better than the stuff that you would get at some of the kopitiams in one utama. Yeah sure they don't serve vietnamese coffee so which makes me wonder why don't they. The aroma of the coffee was almost like mocha.

The fried vietnamese spring roll was OK but not outstanding..

I had a mildly spicy Hue Dai beef noodle. The soup was quite delicious though it tasted more like a fish based soup than a beefy one but it had very little MSG in it. I finished the soup. They had two pieces of vietnamese ham and quite a bit of beef in it. The beef was tender and appealled to me a great deal. My wife had a seafood noodle which  looked a bit like cantonese fried noodles but except that it had a bit more sauce in it. That wasn't too bad either.

Overall our second visit here was much better than the first one. Lunch for two came up to RM53.
