Ms Read's Delicious cafe started out as just a little cafe but seems to have hit a vein with diners in Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur with both their outlets in One Utama and Bangsar Village doing very well.
While they serve traditional afternoon tea for 2 (RM49.90), the place is a bit too noisy for a nice quiet afternoon tea. However, what it lacks in quiet, it does make up with a nice cozy environment. My son seemed to enjoy the side seats very much making himself very comfortable with the cushions on the seat.
Since there were lots of people who were ordering the chocolate brownie
(RM9.90) we decided to order that too. The brownie and the ice cream
had a thick rich hot chocolate sauce generously poured over it. A very
nice complement of hot & cold indeed.
My children enjoyed their chocolate milkshake. Bernice gave it a thumbs
up finding that the milkshake to be thick & rich with chocolate
goodness.
