Dinner for the three of us at Lobsterman's Jalan Delima restaurant started with cheesy mussels and escargot. It didn't really didn't blow my palates away. But it was just starters. There was more to come. Certainly Lobsterman should be able to redeem themselves from this.

The lobster bisque was next. The dinner party thoroughly enjoyed it. So this made up for the mussels and escargot.

For our main dish, we had a lobster done in two cooking styles. The first was a drunken lobster which I would say was ok. But I think the lobster was a bit overcooked and lacked a certain springiness to it's texture. The second style was the lobster thermidor, which was actually not good at all.

We also had a mixed grill which was pathetic. The vegetables way overcooked, the lamb shank was not tasty, the chicken very normal and the half-decent beef providing the saving grace.

On a subsequent visit to Lobsterman's Petaling Jaya restaurant, we had the ginger yee mee. That turned out well.
So I guess, if you are there you got to watch out for what other people are ordering.
