Yes, yes, yes. It's been a very long time since my last post. Jacqueline has asked whether I had stopped eating or gone vegan. Let me state for the record that no such thing has happened. I am very much still a meatarian and still very much love my pork.

As the title suggests, I went for a crabbing trip with some colleagues and friends. Of late, I have assumed the position of Crabbing (trip) Organizing Officer in a company and part of my KPI is to discover new places to eat crabs and find out how many ways there are to prepare crabs. However, I have developed a very strong partiality to Salted Egg Crabs to the exclusion of almost all other preparations.

ms crabsSalted Egg crabs, if prepared well, is absolutely divine and as you can see from the picture (click on it for a larger view) it should elicit such a wonderment on the face of those who behold it's beauty. Chili crabs or steamed crabs just don't stand up to the way that salted egg crabs brings out the flavour of the meat of the crabs. But i digress. What of these crabs that I mentioned in Seremban? Rather than use my own words, I shall have my fellow crabbing companions tell you about the wonders and "delectableness" of the Seremban Salted Egg Crabs.

Edward
It’s really good, not too salty “GAM GAM HOO”, crab are fresh  and suits my taste buds. Thumbs up!

Judy
Crabs were really nice but a little salty for my taste. Fresh and succulent.

Ariel
The crabs were fresh, succulent and lots of meat to go around.  The best part was licking off the superbly flavourful salted-egg gravy off the shells.  It wasn't too salty (as Edward said), and I didn't even need to eat the crabs with rice.

Thomas
I had tummy ache at 1230am last nite... :p

..but it's ALL GOOD BAYYBEE!

The salted egg sauce was dripping off the crab which is different from most preparations which have it too dry and just flaky. and the viscosity of the sauce was just perfect - not too watery or dry. that's the best part and what's different with this joint compared to other restaurants.

Tham
It's finger lickiiiiiiiiiing gooooood...

(incidentally, she lives by the motto - Leave no meat behind and Leave any MAN behind if they make her wait if they ever make her wait when she's going crabbing)

So where is this excellent place???

Well, I can't tell you cause I have sworn an oath of secrecy as have the other 9 people in the posse. But I'll gladly take you there if you buy me crabs. So whaddayasay?

Thanks Elijah & Sarah for bringing this place to my attention.
