C: Hey where did u have lunch today?
V: Oh, I went to That restaurant lah. You know That one in Puchong?
C: Huh, which one is that restaurant?
V: That Restaurant in Bandar Puteri Puchong. That one lah.
C: Huh, still don't get it. Which one is that one?
V: That Restaurant on Jalan Bandar Puteri 5/2.
C: Yalah, but which one is that?
V: I already told u, That Restaurant lah!

OK, whatever possessed the owner to play with the name of his restaurant, I do not know - perhaps he has a quirky sense of humour. But what I can say (and I think Ariel, Ben & Tham will vouch too) is that the food there is good. Ultimately that's what counts, the quality of the food. You can name your restaurant "Taste like Sh*t" but if the food tastes good, diners will make their way there.

We had the braised pork ribs with herbs served in a claypot, the stewed lamb, spinach in soup and THAT very excellent store special tau foo.

The braised pork ribs had a strong taste of herbs. Almost like a good bak kut teh without the soup. The pork ribs came off the bone very easily but the meat was still firm. There were some pig stomach in it which added to our enjoyment of the dish. Good dish.

The stewed lamb had some lamb knuckles in it and quite a bit of fat so that threw us off for awhile into thinking it was pork. But it tasted really good and we devoured the pot in minutes.

The spinach was fine. But the "piece de resistance" was THAT special tau foo. It's two layers of meat sandwiched between the tau foo. How did they get it inside there, is some bit of kung fu. But since I am no cook, I can't explain how that's done. I can however tell you that the tau foo was crisp on the outside and fried to look a bit like "siew yok", soft on the inside, the sauce with shallots was a perfect complement to the tau foo and I wished there was more.

Lunch for 4 was almost RM80 so it was not exactly a cheap meal. But it was worth it!
